Coaches

We Need Coaches

It doesn’t get more simple than this: no coaches ==> no teams ==> no Club.

Coaches are the backbone of our organization.  If you have an interest in coaching, we want to hear from you.

In order to be considered for a volunteer coaching position, you must:

• Get fingerprinted through LiveScan your first year coaching for OYSC.
• Pass a DOJ background check
• Complete SafeSport training – a 90-minute online course on protecting young athletes.
• Complete US Soccer Safety Training – a 30-minute course on the keeping athletes healthy.
• Agree to the coaches code of conduct.

The DOJ and risk management (DUI review, SafeSport and US Soccer Safety Training are annual requirements to coach youth soccer per USSF.

Additionally, we are looking for young adults (16+) who would like to share their love of the game with our younger teams.  We can match you up with an appropriate coach/team to get you started coaching and help you stay involved with our Club.
