Alternate Jersey Request Process

Teams interested in wearing a non-standard or alternate jersey must follow the club’s approval process.

Process:

• Coach Submission: The team’s coach must present the proposed jersey design or concept to the Board of Directors.
• Board Review: The Board of Directors will review the design to ensure it aligns with the club standards and league requirements.
• Board Vote: The Board of Directors will vote to approve or decline the request. The coach will be notified once a decision is made.

This process helps maintain consistency across the club while still allowing teams to explore creative options when appropriate. Thank you for supporting our uniform guidelines.

OYSC Annual General Meeting & Coaches/Referee Appreciation Dinner

Join us as we celebrate another successful year of soccer at the OYSC Annual General Meeting and Coaches/Referee Appreciation Dinner.

This special evening provides an opportunity for club members, families, coaches, referees, and volunteers to come together and recognize the individuals who make OYSC a thriving soccer community.

The Annual General Meeting will include:

• 2026 Board of Directors reports and club updates
• Review of club accomplishments and activities
• Financial and organizational updates
• Election of the 2027 OYSC Board of Directors
• Opportunity for member questions and input

Following the meeting, we will honor our dedicated coaches and referees for their commitment, leadership, and contributions throughout the year with an appreciation dinner.

We encourage all OYSC members to attend, stay informed about the future of the club, and help recognize the volunteers who make our programs possible.

Who We Are

About Our Club

Since 1975, the Orangevale Youth Soccer Club (OYSC) has been serving the community in and around Orangevale by providing a safe and fun environment for families with children between the ages of 4 to 18 to compete in soccer. The Club is a non-profit and volunteer organization.

The board meets throughout the year (nearly monthly) to organize and direct the efforts of our volunteers.

Become a Certified Referee – Register Today!

Interested in becoming a referee? Complete your referee certification course and take the final step with our mandatory in-person field training session!

Field Session Date: Saturday, July 25, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Golden Valley Charter School (9601 Lake Natoma Drive, Orangevale, CA 95662) – Meet at the picnic area tables.

Important: The field session is only for those who have registered for and completed the required 10-15 hours of online coursework. You must finish the coursework before attending the field session.

Recreational Soccer Program

Since 1975, the Orangevale Youth Soccer Club has proudly offered a robust recreational soccer program to the families of our community. A recreational program emphasizes fun and teamwork. Regardless of the age that your child starts playing soccer, the recreational program is a terrific environment to make new friends and learn to love the game of soccer.
