As a new referee, there will be lots to learn – regardless of whether or not you are an experienced soccer player or coach.

There’s a good chance that you’ll get plenty of advice from experience referees that you work with – and even some well-meaning coaches.  If you want to get a head start, we recommend taking some time to review the advice that US Youth Soccer has put together right here.
