OYSC 2025 Fall Registration

As a community based, volunteer organization, the Orangevale Youth Soccer Club (OYSC) has always prided itself on providing a recreational- level youth soccer program to the young soccer players of our community. During our February 2025 board meeting, the Board of Directors of OYSC made some critical decisions for the upcoming fall 2025 Recreational Soccer season that will result in the continued successful growth of the Club including critical decisions regarding our fiscal viability.

For the upcoming fall 2025 recreational season, our Under 6 and Under 8 teams will remain affiliated with the California Youth Soccer Association, North. Our Under 10 and Under 12 teams will affiliate with US Club Soccer and participate in a local US Club recreation league. OYSC Under 14 thru Under 19 teams will affiliate with the US Club Soccer, Norcal Super Rec league. 

Note: OYSC has not increased our registration rates for three years and, in order to make the move to US Club Soccer and remain fiscally solvent, registration fees for our program have been increased by approximately 30 to 35 percent across the board. These increases will allow OYSC to continue to provide USSF certified referees for all matches (Under 8 and above), continue reinvestment in infrastructure (goals, nets, corner flags, field painting equipment, scrimmage vests, etc.), and keep up with rising costs of insurance, field usage, field paint, registration with state of California governing bodies as a non-profit organization, software to run the organization, and other expenses (team and individual photographs, etc.).

Additionally, a portion of the increased fees will enable OYSC to update our youth soccer governing body affiliations that translates to opportunities to play matches against our close neighbors.

OYSC remains committed to providing youth in Orangevale and surrounding communities, a fun, safe, and rewarding recreational soccer experience that reflects our “OV” community pride.

• Age Groups: U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U19
• Game Format:
  • U6: 4v4
  • U8: 7v7(with goalkeeper)
  • U10: 7v7 (with goalkeeper)
  • U12: 9v9 (with goalkeeper)
  • U14–U19: 11v11

Season Timeline

• Game Schedule: 7-9 games starting from mid-August through mid-November
• Practices: Begin in late July
• Registration Deadline: June 30^th

• U6 & U8: $125.00
• U10 & U12: $145.00
• U14, U16 & U19: $165.00

Uniforms

Uniform Update – Important Notice!

Starting in Fall 2025, all players are required to wear the official OYSC uniform that was introduced last year. Previous years’ uniforms will no longer be allowed to ensure consistency across all teams.

Why the Change?

• All players must match in design and colors for league compliance.
• The updated uniform ensures a professional and unified look across age groups.
• This change enhances team identity and player experience on the field.

Uniform Requirements:

• Each player must wear an OYSC jersey, shorts, and socks
• Uniforms are NOT included in the cost of registration
• New uniforms cost approximately $45–$50 at Soccer Post

OYSC 2025 Spring Soccer Registration

Spring Soccer is here! Cal North District VI is offering a spring league open to all area clubs including OYSC.

Spring Soccer Registration Information

Waitlist Process
Interested players will initially be placed on a waitlist. There is no cost to join the waitlist and this step is crucial for us to determine how many players we have in each age and gender group to form teams. Teams will only be formed if we first, have a coach and have enough players.

Once enough players and coaches are available to create teams, we will notify families and provide instructions on how to formally commit by paying the registration fee.

Details

• Age Groups: Boys and Girls divisions for U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19

• Game Format:
  • U10 will play 7v7
  • U12 and older will play 9v9
• Season:
  • Teams will play 7-9 games starting on March 15^th through May 18^th
  • Practices will begin once teams are formed
• Registration Deadline: Teams need to be finalized by March 1^st
• Estimated Cost:
  • $45 for Fall 2024 OYSC players
  • $65 for all new players
  • Exact costs will be confirmed once teams are formed

How to Join
Sign up now to join the waitlist! Teams will be formed based on interest and you will be notified of the next steps once we confirm player and coach availability. If you’re interested in coaching, we need to hear from you now-your help is essential to making this season happen!

Once your registration is confirmed and teams are finalized, your coach will reach out to provide details about practice schedules, game times, and other important updates.
