Volunteers Are Always Needed
From top to bottom, our soccer Club is run by volunteers* – literally!
- The Club Manager is a volunteer.
- The Coach Coordinator is a volunteer.
- The Referee Coordinator is a volunteer.
- The Treasurer is a volunteer.
- The Field Coordinators are volunteers.
- The Coaches are volunteers.
- The Assistant Coaches are volunteers.
- The Team Moms (& Dads) are volunteers.
If your volunteer efforts haven’t extended beyond getting your child to practices and games yet, please consider contributing a little more. Odds are you, you’re going to enjoy serving alongside other members of the community who are working to make Orangevale a great place to raise a family.
Because there are so many different ways to volunteer – anyone of any ability can serve. Some volunteers roles benefit from knowing a fair amount about the game (ie: coaching, coordinating coaching or refereeing). Other roles are really geared for support (ie: team moms/dads). Some roles require some technical savvy (ie: managing the website and registration). Some less social roles are critical even though many don’t see them volunteering (ie: field managers, treasurers).
If you’ve ever wanted to be involved, please reach out to let us know and we’ll help you find a meaningful way to contribute that you enjoy.

OYSC 2025 Spring Soccer Registration
Spring Soccer is here! Cal North District VI is offering a spring league open to all area clubs including OYSC.
Spring Soccer Registration Information
Waitlist Process
Interested players will initially be placed on a waitlist. There is no cost to join the waitlist and this step is crucial for us to determine how many players we have in each age and gender group to form teams. Teams will only be formed if we first, have a coach and have enough players.
Once enough players and coaches are available to create teams, we will notify families and provide instructions on how to formally commit by paying the registration fee.
Details
- Age Groups: Boys and Girls divisions for U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19
- Game Format:
- U10 will play 7v7
- U12 and older will play 9v9
- Season:
- Teams will play 7-9 games starting on March 15th through May 18th
- Practices will begin once teams are formed
- Registration Deadline: Teams need to be finalized by March 1st
- Estimated Cost:
- $45 for Fall 2024 OYSC players
- $65 for all new players
- Exact costs will be confirmed once teams are formed
How to Join
Sign up now to join the waitlist! Teams will be formed based on interest and you will be notified of the next steps once we confirm player and coach availability. If you’re interested in coaching, we need to hear from you now-your help is essential to making this season happen!
Once your registration is confirmed and teams are finalized, your coach will reach out to provide details about practice schedules, game times, and other important updates.

Uniforms
Uniforms are not included in the cost of registration. Each player is required to wear an OYSC uniform that includes a shirt, shorts and socks. You may use an Orangevale uniform from a prior season even if the style is slightly different from the current version. A new uniform (shirt, shorts, and socks) cost approximately $45 to $50 at Soccer Pro.
